Henry Miller

"You see, I think it’s bad to think. A writer shouldn’t think much. But this was a work which required thought. I’m not very good at thinking. I work from some deep down place; and when I write, well, I don’t know just exactly what’s going to happen." -Henry Miller, Paris Review, 1961

Trent Reznor Interview

The man is very, very good.

New Short

Timothy pulled the sunflower bubble wand from the frothy bottle with both hands. Waving it in front of his face he brings the soapy hole to a stop before his squinted eye. Looking through the oily ring he can see his little brother Sean. Sean is sitting in the grass, clapping his hands and looking up at Timothy through the colored soapy lens with a two tooth smile. Timothy pulls his lungs full and slowly blows the hole through his sunflower bubble wand, watching as Sean floats up into the trees. “That’s where Sean lives now.” He silently places the dry wand on the cracked patio and walks into the house where mommy is crying.

Walking Wounded Furniture & Sundry: Yes Ma'am BarCart

The bar cart is steel, wood, brass, and welcome mats encased in epoxy. I put "Yes Ma'am" and "No Sir" on reverse sides of the brown coconut grass welcome mats so that when the bar is open it's "Yes Ma'am" and when the party's over it's "No Sir".

I made this whale for a friend when we went our separate ways. It just felt like the right thing to do. I'm also working on this baby changing dresser for a client. Gotta keep movin'
