Walking Wounded In Process: Sapling Writer
I'm making this writing desk for a friend. It's Pine with Mahogany trim, handmade steel corner pads, windows cut out and filled with wired glass, and a shelf made of radiator parts, threaded rod, and epoxy. They appear as fish remains floating in amber as a fossil. I also put a pencil tray in with circular magnets so that paper clips and other stuff can accumulate there and they can see little miniature sculptures form from their desktop detritos. It worked out really quite well and I'm pleased. I hope you like it- finished photos coming soon.

Walking Wounded Furniture & Sundry: Arrow Pools Credenza
I just finished this credenza for the amazing interior designer, Allison Lind- http://www.allisonlind.com/ It's got a hidden bookshelf, a channel in the top with arrows and flowers designed in brass tacks- covered in epoxy to make it look like their floating just under the surface of water. I lathed the feet to break up the design of the body- I hope you like it.
